New Video added showing oVo Manoeuvrability
The oVo recumbent touring tandem has been designed to a high standard using quality components which take into account weight, practicality and cleanliness.
The oVo can be adjusted to suit a good range of riders
We went back to basics - steering away from a standard 'bike' shape, so there are no round tubes - instead a sexy curved aluminium box frame which is separable to enable rail or air travel and bum numbing saddles replaced by comfy seats. Using hub gears reduces the possibility of damage in transit and aids easy gear changing even when stationary. Disc brakes ensures successful stopping. Hydraulic suspension - front and rear - gives a comfortable ride. The kick stand has been a boom, no finding a tree or lampost to prop up the bike and the pannier rack is low to aid balance. But we can't be totally unconventional it does have two wheels.
When packed the oVo makes two shoulder bags 9.5 and 13.5 Kg.

Why ride a tandem? is a question we are asked, well for my wife and I it means that even as cyclists of different ability we can enjoy the pleasure of cycling together and arriving at the same place at the same time having enjoyed the ride together, she can check the map and take pictures or preparing snacks while I deal with the technical stuff shifting gears and not hitting things.
Dare to be different...
